Every thing about the internet

The secret of the internet. I think its high time we stop rolling about on the net looking and spending with out earning well am digressing a bit but first thing first what ever you are doing be positive by seeking for the origin and the secrets behind it let me introduce my self . My name is chibuike okey am a computer developer. I've trode the net and realised the secrets of the internet and am willing to share it with my friends. First let's define Internet

. THE DEFINATION OF INTERNET

The Internet, sometimes called simply "the Net," is a worldwide system of computer networks - a network of networks in which users at any one computer can, if they have permission, get information from any other computer (and sometimes talk directly to users at other computers). It was conceived by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) of the U.S. government in 1969 and was first known as the ARPANet. The original aim was to create a network that would allow users of a research computer at one university to "talk to" research computers at other universities. A side benefit of ARPANet's design was that, because messages could be routed or rerouted in more than one direction, the network could continue to function even if parts of it were destroyed in the event of a military attack or other disaster.

ARPANET DEFINATION

ARPANET was the network that became the basis for the Internet. Based on a concept first published in 1967, ARPANET was developed under the direction of the U.S. Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA). In 1969, the idea became a modest reality with the interconnection of four university computers. The initial purpose was to communicate with and share computer resources among mainly scientific users at the connected institutions. ARPANET took advantage of the new idea of sending information in small units called packets that could be routed on different paths and reconstructed at their destination. The development of the TCP/IP protocols in the 1970s made it possible to expand the size of the network, which now had become a network of networks, in an orderly way.

ARPA (Advanced Research Projects Agency) definition

An agency of the United States Department of Defense, ARPA (Advanced Research Projects Agency) underwrote development for the precursor of the Internet, known as ARPANET. Initially a modest network of four interconnected university computers, ARPANET's initial purpose was to enable mainly scientific users at the connected institutions to communicate and share resources. ARPANET took advantage of the new idea of sending information in small units calledpackets that could be routed on different paths and reconstructed at their destination. The development of the TCP/IP protocols in the 1970s made it possible to expand the size of the network, which now had become a network of networks, in an orderly way.

PACKET Defination

A packet is the unit of data that is routed between an origin and a destination on the Internet or any other packet-switched network. When any file (e-mail message, HTML file, Graphics Interchange Format file, Uniform Resource Locator request, and so forth) is sent from one place to another on the Internet, the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) layer of TCP/IP divides the file into "chunks" of an efficient size for routing. Each of these packets is separately numbered and includes the Internet address of the destination. The individual packets for a given file may travel different routes through the Internet. When they have all arrived, they are reassembled into the original file (by the TCP layer at the receiving end).

PACKET SWITCHED

Packet-switched describes the type of network in which relatively small units of data called packets are routed through a network based on the destination address contained within each packet. Breaking communication down into packets allows the same data path to be shared among many users in the network. This type of communication between sender and receiver is known as connectionless (rather thandedicated). Most traffic over the Internet uses packet switching and the Internet is basically a connectionless network.

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) definition

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is the set of markup symbols or codes inserted in a file intended for display on a World Wide Web browser page. The markup tells the Web browser how to display a Web page's words and images for the user. Each individual markup code is referred to as an element (but many people also refer to it as a tag). Some elements come in pairs that indicate when some display effect is to begin and when it is to end.

MARKUP Definition

Markup refers to the sequence of characters or other symbols that you insert at certain places in a text or word processing file to indicate how the file should look when it is printed or displayed or to describe the document's logical structure. The markup indicators are often called "tags." For example, this particular paragraph is preceded by a:

 BROWSER definition

A browser is an application programthat provides a way to look at and interact with all the information on theWorld Wide Web. The word "browser" seems to have originated prior to the Web as a generic term for user interfaces that let you browse (navigate through and read) text files online.

THE BITCOIN BTC

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and a payment system [14] :3 invented by an unidentified programmer, or group of programmers, under the name of Satoshi Nakamoto . [15] Bitcoin was introduced on 31 October 2008 to a cryptography mailing list, [16] and released as open-source software in 2009. [17] There have been various claims and speculation concerning the identity of Nakamoto, none of which are confirmed. [15] The system is peer-to-peer and transactions take place between users directly, without an intermediary. [14] :4 These transactions are verified by network nodes and recorded in a public distributed ledger called the blockchain , [18] which uses bitcoin as its unit of account . Since the system works without a central repository or single administrator, the U.S. Treasury categorizes bitcoin as a decentralized virtual currency . [11] Bitcoin is often called the first cryptocurrency, [19] [20] [21] although prior systems existed [note 4] and it is more correctly descr

How to create a bitcoin wallet

How To Set Up a Wallet A “wallet” is basically the Bitcoin equivalent of a bank account. It allows you to receive bitcoins, store them, and then send them to others. There are two main types of wallets. A software wallet is one that you install on your own computer or mobile device. You are in complete control over the security of your coins, but they can sometimes be tricky to install and maintain. A web wallet or hosted wallet is one that is hosted by a third party. They are often much easier to use, but you have to trust the provider to maintain high levels of security to protect your coins. There are four main wallets that we recommend for beginners. Coinbase Sending coins with Coinbase Coinbase is a web wallet with a simple design and a number of very useful features that make it excellent for beginners. You can send and receive bitcoins via email and buy and sell bitcoins directly from Coinbase. A full-featured Android app enables access to all accou

Day of birth/night crawler

maxresdefault Day of Birth 04:45 She had taken the day off work but forgot to turn off her usual alarm. All hopes of a lie-in were demolished. She was not ready to turn 29. “Let’s call the whole thing off.” 05:22 She wondered if the ravens knew that their continuous cawing is the most consistent, reliable thing in her life. 05:23 A murder of crows. An ostentation of peacocks. A parliament of owls. She had no collective. She just was. 06:42 She buried her phone under her mattress so she didn’t have to face life just yet. She began to read The Glass Bead Game for the fourth time. And for the fourth time she didn’t make it past page 28. Having said that, she hadn’t expected to make it past year 28, but she’s only bloody gone and done it. 10:08 She never opens it in front of her, but she receives a card from her mother every year. If she shakes it hard enough, the hollow words fall out of the envelope like dirty feathers so that by the time she’s gathered the strength to read i
